Welcome to Crossroads Trading, a beloved hidden gem located in the vibrant heart of Brooklyn at 135 N 7th St. This unique consignment store specializes in a curated selection of men's and women's clothing, providing shoppers with an eclectic mix of used and vintage treasures. Crossroads Trading stands out for its commitment to affordability, making it a favorite among those who appreciate everyday practicality over fleeting fashion trends.
Step inside, and you'll find a welcoming atmosphere where the thrill of the hunt is palpable. Opened during a time when many were decluttering, Crossroads has been a reliable destination for both sellers and buyers alike. Customers, like Dee G., highlight their positive experiences when selling items, though they note that prices can be on the lower end. This is a dual-edged sword for sellers looking to cash in on their gently used clothes, yet it fosters a treasure-trove environment for bargain hunters seeking quality pieces at remarkable prices.
Although the offerings may have reduced since the pandemic, Crossroads Trading still boasts an impressive range of activewear and essential clothing staples, such as versatile pants and shirts perfect for everyday wear. While they have restructured their space—temporarily closing fitting rooms and limiting mirrors—this has not deterred devoted customers who appreciate the laid-back, no-fuss shopping experience.
What truly makes Crossroads Trading shine is its focus on practicality. It's the place to find clothing that fits seamlessly into your lifestyle without the pretense of high fashion. Whether you're on a quest for a comfortable new outfit for your daily errands or hunting for that elusive vintage find, Crossroads Trading invites you to tap into the sustainable fashion movement while saving a few bucks along the way.
Next time you're in the neighborhood, don’t hesitate to visit Crossroads Trading. It's the perfect spot to refresh your wardrobe while championing eco-friendly shopping habits. Plus, who knows? You might just walk away with something you've been searching for—a fantastic deal is always waiting!
Love this place, constantly find top brands for practically nothing. Got a pair of Rag and Bone jeans for $30. One of the only major chains that actually organizes by size. Customer service is not the best but fine. If you're selling its crazy the rules they follow; I have gone first week of November only to hear "oh we would love to buy these but you've missed the winter window already we've got too much". Still love it though.
Saturday afternoon at Crossroads was busy — giant IKEA bags lined up behind the counter, a long wait, and a steady flow of people coming in to sell. The two people working — a bleached-blonde from California & the vintage-tee-wearing, kind-hearted human to her left (who helped me sign in) — kept things moving with patience and good energy. When it was my turn, chatting with them while they went through my clothes made the process easy and actually enjoyable. It was almost a two-hour wait, and I’ve never seen a thrift shop so full of people, but even on what was clearly a hectic day, they stayed friendly and welcoming — which, in today’s world, is absolutely above and beyond, and honestly restores my faith in humanity. Thank you! These places can be notorious for rude, superior-acting buyers who can easily make you feel degraded at times. It’s important to be humble — it’s also contagious. Thanks for turning my day around. Y’all should be VERY proud of yourselves.
I have sold here several times during the pandemic when I was cleaning out my closet and they did buy many things. I do have to say they price items pretty low but in my case it may be fair since a lot of what I was selling was H&M/Zara stuff. As a customer, I like the low prices but as a seller not so much. The selling experience has always been pleasant here for me. In turn, I have also found a lot of things I was looking for like activewear. They do have a good selection of pants and activewear and some nice shirts. I don't ever like their dresses. Pre-COVID they used to have a lot more clothes but have limited racks now. The fitting rooms are closed and they have blocked all the mirrors with brown paper which does not make it easy to shop. This location is not "fashionable" but rather good to shop for more practicable, everyday clothes.
